Internal emergency contacts: fire wardens, floor wardens and first aid officers
External contacts including police, fire brigade and the poison information centre
An explanation of how people are alerted, such as the siren or bell used
The evacuation procedure, including assistance for people with hearing, vision or mobility impairments
A map of the workplace showing fire equipment, exits and assembly points
Post incident procedures, including notifying the regulator and arranging trauma counselling

Every PCBU needs one. Any person conducting a business or undertaking must ensure an emergency plan is prepared for the workplace. It is not optional, and a document nobody can follow does not meet the intent of the regulation.

What is the AS 3745-2010?
